We will provide transfer service at 09:00 AM local time. Please be excited, as you will ride the 4WD Jeep Safari. You will head directly to the Bande Alit - Meru Betiri National Park. This is an exciting trip, as we will enter the tropical forest of Meru Betiri National Park, in which is about 50 km to the south of Jember City. The travel time will be last for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will pass through tobacco plantation, coffee plantation, cocoa plantation, and rubber plantation. We will arrive on Andongrejo Village, a village serving as the gate to the Meru Betiri National Park. After we travel through plantations, we will be able to visit a small village, still inhabited by the local people, and still have same old buildings that were built during the Dutch Colonial era.
As we enter the forest, if we are lucky, we will be able to see the Macaca, or locally known as the Black Monkey. We might meet with Lutung; a Javanese Monkey, with black fur as its characteristic.
