Krakatau Day Tour

Leave Jakarta early in the morning (around 05.00 AM) with a scenic drive to Carita. Upon arrival at our harbor, direct Sail to Krakatau. 1,5 hours required by speedboat one way.

Krakatoa is an active volcano on the Sunda Strait, famous for its 1883 big bang, which destroyed the surrounding area with a cost of 36,000 deaths, of largest volcanic eruption in the history of mankind.

We will see the possibility of landing on the volcano. Lunch box provided. In the afternoon, back to Carita for the drive to Jakarta.

The best season to do this trip is during the dry season only, from April to September.
