Malang is the second largest city in East Java, with an ancient history dating back to the Mataram Kingdom. During the period of Dutch colonization, it was a popular destination for European residents. Hundreds, even thousands, of years ago, before Malang became the second biggest city in East Java, Malang was the center of the Kanjuruhan and Singosari Kingdoms.

The history could be revealed through the old Dinoyo inscription from 760 A.D., as the primary official document, also supporting the birth of Malang before a new inscription was discovered in 1986, which has not yet been revealed.

The excursion will feature the city of Malang with antiquities of the Singosari dynasty dating back to the 14th century A.D. The visit will be to Singosari Temple and Jago Temple, and inside the city of Malang, we will pass through the old colonial retirement area with its interesting places like Ijen Boulevard. After enjoying the peaceful city of Malang, we will return to Surabaya to end the excursion.
