Malang is the second largest city in East Java, with an ancient history dating back to the Mataram Kingdom. During the period of Dutch colonization, it was a popular destination for European residents. Hundreds, even thousands of years ago before Malang became to be the second biggest city in East Java, Malang was the center of The Kanjuruhan and Singosari Kingdom.

The history could be revealed through the old Dinoyo inscription 760 A.D. as the primary official document also to support the birth of Malang before new inscription was discovered in 1986, which is so far not yet revealed.

The excursion will be featuring the city of Malang with antiquities of Singosari dynasty dating back from 14th A.D. The visit will be Singosari temple and Jago Temple and inside the city of Malang will be passing through the old colonial retirement area with its interesting places like Ijen Boulevard. After enjoying the peaceful city of Malang we will return back to Surabaya to end the excursion.
