An epic adventure into the forest to meet with orangutans! The Orangutans are native to Indonesia and are currently only found in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra.

Their species is considered to be critically endangered. This tour will offer you 3 hours of jungle trekking in the Sumatra Rainforest, an opportunity to see several species of indigenous flora and fauna. When heading to Bohorok, you can witness the unique local life of the locals, with its market and its refreshing farm and farm products.

In the morning, we will transfer you to the Bukit Lawang Village in the Bohorok region. We will drive to the north-west for about 3 hours to the destination. Along the way, we will pass through several small towns, followed by a vast view of rubber and oil palm plantations, as well as some astounding countryside landscapes. We will have a stop to see a palm oil plantation, from the outside.

If your visit is during the harvest season, we can stop to see the abundant local harvest products from the "rambutan" and cacao garden.

Upon arrival in Bohorok, we will have lunch before we start our journey into the jungle.

We will have a little trekking adventure in the jungle for about 3 hours. Steep slopes and dense vegetation will bring you the unforgettable excitement of the Sumatra rainforest. Inside the rainforest, you will have the opportunity to see several species of indigenous flora and fauna. If you are lucky, you might encounter the Orangutans, whether in ga group or not.

You might as well meet with leaf monkeys, macaques, gibbons, siamangs, and abundant species of birds. Travelers and walkers must be fit and have suitable, large-profile shoes. The journey will end right at the starting point via the same way, then we will transfer you back to Medan as well as to the hotel.
