Start your day by visiting the Rumah Adat or traditional house of Belitung, and learn more about the big wooden house on stilts. Continue our journey to the Museum Tanjung Pandan, and have a photo stop at the Kaolin Lake for its eye-pleasing scenery of shiny and soothing blue-colored water and sky.

Finally, we will travel to Tanjung Pendam Beach, considered the nicest beach in town for relaxing, taking pictures, and enjoying the sunset.

After the pick-up service, we will start the excursion, driving to the Rumah Adat or traditional house of Belitung, where you will learn about the big wooden house on stilts. This is a miniature of the Rumah Panggong or stilt house belonging to a nobleman during ancient times.

At this traditional house, you will learn the way of life of the ancient people, and you will have a chance to rent the traditional costume for picture taking.

The next visit will be to Museum Tanjung Pandan. This museum was a Geological Museum that was built in 1962, and the building is an old house that, during the Dutch occupation, was used as the office of the NV. Billiton Maatschappij.

At the beginning, the museum was collecting geological artifacts such as mineral stones, but later people collected other historical things such as weapons, Chinese ceramics, and other tools which were used daily by the locals, and later they also collected local ancient fauna.

After the museum, we will make a photo stop at the Kaolin Lake; actually, this is not a natural lake or an artificial lake, but this lake was kaolin mining; after being abundant, the land was mined, dredged, and filled with earth; the water became a beautiful lake.

The blue color of the lake water is very bright, combined with the blue sky. Unlike the white crater that has a sulfur smell, Kaolin Lake has no smell of sulfur.

Our final stop will be Tanjung Pendam Beach; this is one of the nicest beaches in town where local people will come and spend some relaxing time, while enjoying the beach atmosphere. We will have a photo stop here and wait to view the sunset.
