Sunset outing to the southwestern tip of Bali for a visit to the Uluwatu Temple, which is perched precipitous on a top sheer cliffs that drop straight into the pounding surf, 250 feet above the sea.
This is one of the temples in Bali that was built in the 11th century. Watch the spectacular sunset overlooking the Indian Ocean and enjoy the mystic atmosphere. Witnessing the Sacred Kecak Dance performance, well-known as a "monkey dance," will light up your night before we then drive to Jimbaran Beach for an extensive BBQ Seafood Dinner on the beach.
Uluwatu Temple is perched on a cliff of a rocky hill on the southernmost part of Bali. Balinese believe the shrine was the result of the metamorphosis of the God’s holy water. This temple was built and chosen by one of Hinduism’s most respected priests, Danghyang Nirartha, to unite with God Almighty, moksa. Uluwatu Temple is surrounded by trees and bushes occupied by a tamed army of monkeys.
