This is a combination package: the cultural side of Yogyakarta and the natural beauty of East Java. In Yogyakarta, the visit will be Sultan Palace, Batik Home Industry, Kota Gede, the original home of Yogya‘s silver ware, the wonder of the world Borobudur Temple, and the magnificent Prambanan Temple, and in East Java is certainly Mt. Bromo with its spectacular sunrise over the mountain top.
Day 1: Yogyakarta Borobudur Tour
Pick up service at 09:00 at any hotel where you stay in Yogyakarta.
Include: Lunch at a Local Restaurant and Accommodation in Yogyakarta.
On a tour to visit the magnificent Borobudur, "the Buddhist Monastery on the hill," you will then explore the massive Buddhist temple on foot. Throughout the morning of this Indonesian day trip, you will learn about the history of the temple, its symbolic design, and discover hidden corners and carvings amid the structure. After the visit, return to Yogyakarta.
Day 2: Yogyakarta Full Day Sightseeing
Include: Breakfast in the Hotel, Lunch and Dinner at a Local Restaurant, and Accommodation in Yogyakarta.
A full-day excursion will explore the rich life of Yogyakarta. In the morning will visit Kraton Yogyakarta “Sultan Palace”, the traditional batik home industry, and Kota Gede, the original home of Yogya‘s silver. Also visit Prambanan, the temple of the “Slender Virgin,” considered to be Java's most elegant Hindu temple.
In the evening, enjoy a complete buffet dinner serving Indonesian Cuisine and continue with Ramayana Dance Performance, seeing the epic from the Hindu philosophy.
Day 3: Yogyakarta to Blitar
Include: Breakfast in the Hotel, Lunch at a Local Restaurant, and Accommodation in Blitar.
Begin with a visit to Yogya's sister city of Solo (formerly Surakarta) and the Kraton Mangkunegaran. Continue to Blitar, East Java, the birthplace of our first President, Mr. Soekarno.
Day 4: Blitar to Mt. Bromo
Include: Breakfast in the Hotel, Lunch at a Local Restaurant, and Accommodation at the slope of Mt. Bromo.
The leisure journey today, firstly in the morning, visits the Tomb of Mr. Soekarno. (When it is closed for official use, we will replace it with a visit to Penataran Temple). Continue the trip to Malang passing through Ijen Boulevard which is already famous since colonial times, visit will be made at Singosari Temple. In the afternoon, take a leisurely drive straight to Tosari, the slope of Mt. Bromo.
Day 5: Bromo to Surabaya for Departure
Include: Breakfast in the Hotel.
An early morning! It will be a journey with a 4-wheel drive jeep, horseback upward to Mt. Bromo, and the chance to view the magnificence of sunrise over Java. This apocalyptic-like experience will richly reward the efforts of rising before dawn.
In the afternoon will be driving back to Surabaya, and we will provide a transfer to the airport for the flight departure to other onward destinations.
