This is a complete list of Solo, the sister city of Yogyakarta. The visits will be exploring the Kasunanan Palace, and the handicrafts of Central Java, such as Batik Home Industry, Glass Handicraft, and the process of Leather Puppets. The highlight of this package is visiting the unique Sukuh Temple.
Day 1: Solo Arrival and Sightseeing
Include: Lunch at a local restaurant and accommodation at a selected Hotel in Solo.
Upon arrival at Adi Sumarmo Airport of Solo, we will provide meeting service and then proceed with an excursion to visit Kasunanan Palace, where displayed collection of masks, puppets, handicrafts, and Javanese Musical Instruments is displayed. The next visit will be Radya Pusaka Museum, which is noted as the oldest museum in Indonesia.
Day 2: Solo and Sukuh Excursion
Include: Breakfast at the Hotel, lunch at a local restaurant, and accommodation at a selected Hotel in Solo.
The trip will start by visiting the Gamelan Workshop before the Sukuh Temple, then visiting the Seven Tasty Springs and the Tea Plantation. Sukuh temple is a unique temple from the Hindu time, located at an altitude of 910 m above sea level on the slope of Mt. Lawu. The uniqueness of this temple, unlike other temples that the relief shows about Hinduism or Buddhism, while this one shows human sexual life.
Day 3: Solo Sightseeing, then Departure and Departure Transfer
Include: Breakfast at the Hotel and lunch at a local restaurant.
A half-day excursion will explore the rich life of Solo. In the morning will visit Batik Village and Glass Handicrafts, and continue with the Leather Puppet home industry. After lunch, we will provide a transfer to the airport for the flight departure to other onward destinations.
