This is the most complete Yogyakarta Package, exploring several temples of Hinduism and Buddhism. The visit will be to Prambanan Temple, the temple of the “Slender Virgin”, Sewu Temple, which means “a thousand” temple, the magnificent Borobudur temple, and Medut Temple. The added value of this package is seeing the city highlights and visiting the beautiful Dieng Plateau in Central Java.
Day 1: Yogyakarta Arrival and Prambanan Temple Excursion
Include: Lunch at a local restaurant and accommodation at a selected Hotel in Yogyakarta.
Upon arrival at Adi Sucipto Airport of Yogyakarta, we will provide meeting service and then proceed with an excursion to visit Prambanan, the temple of the “Slender Virgin”, and to Sewu, which means “a thousand” temples. Return to Yogyakarta for the overnight.
Day 2: Yogyakarta Borobudur Temple and Dieng Plateau
Include: Breakfast at the Hotel, lunch at a local restaurant, and accommodation at the Hotel in Yogyakarta.
In the morning, drive via Magelang and Wonosobo to explore Dieng Plateau with interesting scenery along the journey, seeing dramatic Mountain views.
The excursion will visit Pendawa Lima Temples and Sikidang Crater with its breathtaking landscape within the huge, marshy caldera of a volcano that erupted a long time ago. After lunch, the journey will continue to visit the magnificent Borobudur, "the Buddhist Monastery on the hill".
Day 3: Yogyakarta City Sightseeing and Departure Transfer
Include: Breakfast at the Hotel and lunch at a local restaurant.
A half-day excursion will explore the rich life of Yogyakarta. In the morning will visit Kraton Yogyakarta “Sultan Palace”, a traditional batik home industry where famous batiks are made uniquely, and Kota Gede, the original home of Yogyakarta‘s silverware, where the Craftsmanship of some hundred years ago is being practiced and mastered.
After lunch, we will provide a transfer to the airport for flight departure to other onward destinations.
